The fans were filled with excitement when Kang Daniel announced Malaysia for his ‘Color On Me’ tour. It has been a year since the last time he set his foot in the town. Last year he came as a member of Wanna One, but this year he came back as a solo artist to meet Malaysian DANITY for an intimate and close up fan meet.
Kang Daniel first solo fan meeting in Malaysia was held at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil on September 21. The event was an opportunity for the fans to see the singer after the released of his debut mini album.
The fan meeting was engaged with a series of performances and games. The screams were clearly heard echoing the arena as soon as Kang Daniel steps on the stage. He prepared a set of performances of his own songs as well as a cover song: Through The Night, Color, What Are You Up To, Horizon, I Hope and Justin Bieber’s Sorry. He left all fans in awe with his powerful dancing moves and singing skills.
Kang Daniel really had fun the entire event as the fans were being supportive and loud. The emcee of the event also did a great job in handling the crowd and the dialogue in channelling what the fans wanted to say to Kang Daniel.
During the game session, Kang Daniel showed his playful and quirky characters which made all fans laugh at his actions on the stage. He made sure to win all the games, in which he did.
The fans also prepared a short video presenting Kang Daniel’s journey from the beginning up to where he is now. The clip was projected in the middle of his performance, he was surprised by it as he thought it was a technical issue. The heartwarming video touched his heart and he felt very thankful for the surprise. Right after the video was played, DANITY held up banners with a saying that states “Thank you for being our light in this dark world”.
At the end of this speech, he promised to come back with more songs as he felt bad as he could not give enough to the fans. He kept thanking all fans for the love and support. He will come back soon with great songs in the future.
Kang Daniel ‘Color On Me’ in Kuala Lumpur was organised by Unusual Entertainment Pte Ltd and Starline Production, together with TicketCharge, AirAsia RedTix, and Klook.
